Extra Tickets for Graduation
Applications for extra tickets to graduation are now available in Student Services Office.  It is first come, first serve.

Grad Night Tickets for eligible Seniors,
Fill out your waiver, have it signed and bring it with you to buy your ticket. Ticket sales will take place on three days onlyMonday, May 15 and Wednesday, May 17 in the Quad during lunch and during Senior Activity Day on Friday, May 19.  Look for the sales tables near the football field on Friday. Ticket price is $95 - cash or check payable to “SMHS PTO/Grad Night 2017.”   Food is included as well as games, activities and transportation.

Grad Night 2017
Grad Night will start after the end of the graduation ceremony on June 1.  You will have 60 minutes to pose for pictures with your peeps, shake hands with your proud parents/guardians, hug your grandma, change your clothes and head to the buses where you will be transported to the MYSTERY LOCATION. After the event, the buses will return to the SMHS parking lot between 3:00 and 4:00 AM the next morning.

Do you have a sibling that is graduating this year?
If your answer is yes, sign up to volunteer as a graduation usher inside Student Services Office.

Attention All SMHS Athletes:
All Athletic Packets from this school year will be expiring on June 1, 2017. However, starting May 1st, parents/guardians can complete an Athletic Packet for all 2017-2018 sports seasons by going to https://sportsnethost.com/san-mateo 

Physicals that have not yet expired (were completed within the last year) and are on file in the SMHS Health Office, can be used until they expire and do not need to be resubmitted.

Attention Juniors
Today, May 10th during lunch in the quad we will have a mini college fair! Come learn more about potential colleges you may be interested in applying to and get to know the admissions representatives.  Then on Friday May 12th during lunch we will have a Common Application essay workshop in the small gym led by an admission rep. from a Common App school.  Stop by the Career Center with any questions.

Tonight at 7pm In the PAC, Come listen to the amazing sounds of the Marching, Concert, Symphonic and Jazz Bands as well as the incredible Bella Sinfonia!  $5 students $10 adults

Spring Sing
Please join the Chorus, Concert Choir and Chamber Singers of San Mateo & Burlingame High Schools for a wonderful evening of choral music in "Spring Sing," their last performance of the year, Tomorrow, May 11th at 7 p.m. in the SMHS PAC. Suggested donations are $10 for the general audience; and $5 for students and seniors.

Stress Less- A Perk Rally!
Come out to the Spirit Lawn during lunch on Friday, May 12th for the final perk rally of the year brought to you by Renaissance and Bring Change to Mind.  There will be perk rewards, music, fun activities and a picnic style hangout. Feel free to bring your own blanket!

Athletic Awards Night
The Athletic Awards night recognizing the 2016-2017 season will be held on Tuesday, May 16th @ 6pm in the Main Gym. We will be recognizing our MVPs, championship teams and Athletes of the Year. Food and refreshments sponsored by the Athletic Boosters.

2017 Sports Physicals $10 at BHS -Saturday, 5/20/17
Sports physicals will be given at Burlingame High School Gymnasium on Saturday, May 20,

8:30 am - 4:00 pm.  Registration is required beforehand at: yaa.stanfordchildrens.org

End of Year Drama Banquet
All Bearcat Drama Families are invited to join us for the end of year Drama Banquet on May 21st at the Crowne Plaza in Foster City. We will celebrate the past year, bid a fond farewell to our graduating seniors, and announce the 2017-2018 season. Tickets are $35 per person and are on sale until May 14th at smhsdrama.org.
