Tickets for Welcome Back Dance will be sold today during lunch! $5 with PAL; $7 without PAL

Message from Reggie
If you are a returning student and participate in the National School Lunch Program and receive free/reduced lunches, your number will still work until September.  Please make sure to re-apply ASAP to ensure you are not dropped from the program.

Student Planners:
Student Planners can be bought at Attendance window.  Limited supplies. $5.

PE Uniforms
Can be bought during your PE Class- $20 for shorts and shirt; $15 sweatpants.

Lockers!  Attention Freshmen and New Students! 
Please come to the Student Services (Room A134) during LUNCH AND AFTER SCHOOL ONLY to pick up your locker information. Upper classmen, if you aren’t planning to use your locker please let Ms. Cervantes know so we can assign the locker to students on our wait list. Thank you.

Library Hours:
Beginning Today, the library will be open at 7am-5:30. Library hours will change daily:
Monday and Thursday - 7am- 3:00 (TBD)
Tuesday,   Wednesday and Friday -   7am-5:30

Girl's golf
A meeting will be held on Friday, August 19, at lunch, in the Biotech lab.  All interested girls please attend.

Tryouts for our fall musical will be held after on Monday and Tuesday, August 22-23. Vocal auditions will be on Monday in the Multipurpose Room. Please prepare a song from a musical. Bring the sheet music in your key. An accompanist will be provided. Dance auditions will be on Tuesday in the Dance Studio. Wear clothes that you can move in. Pick up an audition form in the PAC classroom. For more information and callback material is on our website, smhsdrama.org.

Looking to get more involved at SMHS?
The perfect way to do this is to join the cross country team! Practices are today at 3:30 on the bleachers at the track. Wear running shoes and comfortable workout clothing. See you there!

Fall Sportsmanship Meeting
Come join the Bearcat athletic department kickoff for the 2016-2017 school year on Monday, August 22nd, 6:30 in the Performing Arts Center for our Fall Sportsmanship meeting with special guest speaker Julian Jenkins.    Julian is from National Collegiate Scouting Association which specializes in helping student athletes looking to continue playing sports at the college level. This is a free seminar and open to athletes of any sport.
