Would you like to make a difference in a child's life? Become a teacher.... How do you become a teacher? How much schooling do you need? Our very own San Mateo High School Alumn will be here to tell you all about her job as a Kindergarten teacher. To attend this Career Speaker Series event, please come to the Career Center at lunch on Tuesday, March 14th.
Do you want to know how to become a persuasive speaker? How can you learn to talk to people and get them to listen? This is a skill that can be learned. To attend this Career Speaker Series event, please come to the Career Center at lunch on Wednesday, March 15th.
Planning to attend CSM next year? We have two upcoming events for you. On Wednesday, March 15th, we will have an application workshop in the library during tutorial. If you have not yet applied pick up a pass from the Career Center
Parents and Guardians:
We invite you to the annual Open House at San Mateo High School is on Thursday, March 16th from 7:00- 8:30pm. The evening gives you a chance to examine your student’s activities, projects, and coursework in their current classes. Here is a link with more information.

Design Thinking Fundraiser
Enjoy delicious Menchies frozen yogurt and support Design Thinking on Friday, March 17th afterschool on the spirit lawn. $3 per cup!
On Friday, March 17 during 4th period we will be visited by SUNY Albany, the State University of New York. And then on Monday, March 20th during lunch learn about making movies and acting as we will be visited by the New York Film Academy. Stop by the Career Center to learn more.

Stamp out the Stigma
Come out to the quad on Wednesday, March 22 during lunch to join Bring Change 2 Mind for music and uplifting activities. Learn to conquer your fears, express gratitude and take the pledge to eliminate stigma surrounding mental health. See you there!
Field trip to CSM
On Thursday, March 23rd we will have a field trip to CSM. This will be a great chance for you to learn about the campus and what you can expect at CSM next year. Pick up a permission slip from the Career Center. Completed permission slips are due by March 17th

San Mateo High Drama Boosters invite you to join us on Saturday, March 25th at the San Mateo Performing Arts Center as we celebrate Mr. Brad Friedman's 25th anniversary as our drama teacher and director.
