PSAT SIGN-UPS

  • Attention Juniors!  The PSAT (the Preliminary SAT/National Merit Scholarship Qualifying Test)will be taken by all juniors on Wednesday, October 15th, during the school day.  All juniors must see Mrs. Fenech in the Career Center to register for the PSAT.  Donations for the cost of the test are $22.00.  Donations should be made payable to “San Mateo High School”.  Fee waivers are also available.  Students can visit the Career Center before or after school and during brunch and lunch breaks to register from Tuesday, September 2nd through Friday, September 5th.  Remember:  all juniors must register for the PSAT and there is just one week to register.  Keep in mind that this is a great way to prepare for the SAT and get feedback on improving skills needed for college success.  You may qualify for a National Merit Scholarship.
  • Attention Sophomores!  Sophomores who wish to take the PSAT may register at the County Library or at Mills or Hillsdale High Schools.  It will be given on Saturday, October 18th, which is the National Test Date.  Be sure to register ahead of time.  Any questions?  See Mrs. Fenech in the Career Center.
