Come and listen to the talented students of the BHS & SMHS Choirs perform Broadway, Hollywood and Jazz Standards from the Golden Age of Pop, featuring Irving Berlin, George Gershwin, & Cole Porter, in the February Choir Concert "FASCINATING RHYTHM," under the direction of Shawn Reifschneider on Tomorrow, February 23, 2017, 7 pm at the SMHS PAC. Tickets are $10 for Adults & $5 for Students & Seniors.

The Jennifer Nathan Travel Scholarship
Attention sophomores and juniors, interested in earning a grant to travel the globe this summer? See the world for free?!  Then come apply for the Jennifer Nathan Travel Scholarship!  Pick up an application in the Career Center. Applications are due on Friday, February 24th.

Teen Poster Contest

Interested in running for student council? Sign up for a position in the leadership room A001, decisions due February 27th. 

Mandatory Meeting for Candidates
All Candidates interested in running for student council must come to the Mandatory Meeting, Monday, February 27th @ lunch in MPR.  Finish you election packets!

Senior Grad Night Fundraiser - Dinner Box
Please purchase a Dinner Box on Monday, 2/27/17 from 5-8pm at the Spirit Lawn and PAC before the mandatory Spring Sports/Sportsmanship Meeting.  Your choice of delicious Asian or Italian Dinner, served with Side Salad, Dessert and Water, all for a $10.00 donation.  Class of 2017 Seniors and Families thank you for your support!

Spring Sportsmanship Meeting
Come on Monday, February 27th at 6:30pm in the Performing Arts Center. All athletes are required to attend the meeting along with a parent or guardian. Individual team meetings will be following the general meeting.

Here's an update on our Winter sports teams......

Girls & Boys Basketball as well as Girls Soccer made CCS playoffs which will happen this week. The Varsity Boys just barely missed an opportunity to be in CCS but had a great season....

  • Boys Basketball vs. Willow Glen @ home 7pm Tuesday February 21st
  • Girls Basketball @ Westmoor 7pm Tuesday February 21st
  • Girls Soccer @ Los Gatos 7pm Wednesday February 22nd 

Winners will play Thursday evening at location TBD.

Congratulations to the wrestling team for wrestling hard this weekend at the PAL finals! Big congratulations to Tristan Helin who took 1st place in the 195lb division at the PAL Finals! In 2nd place, Ariel Hochhauser, 3rd place Kelly Mills, Jocelyn Cristin, Daniel Chapman, Ariel Blemur, and Eddie Wong, and in 4th place Nancy Gama Canales and Gene Kapel.

Congrats to all the athletes and coaches on a great Winter and good luck in the playoffs!
