Theme: Favorite Winter Holiday Activity.  Awesome prizes will be awarded for the winning entries. Color Guard Informational Meeting
Want to get involved and represent the orange and black of SMHS?  Join San Mateo’s Championship Color Guard on Tuesday, September 6 @ lunch in M13.

Attention Seniors
Next week we will have three colleges coming to visit us, right here in our Career Center.  On Wednesday September 7th we will have Rutgers University during tutorial and the University of Idaho during lunch.  Then on Friday, September 9th, UC San Diego will be here during lunch.  This is a great chance for you to learn more about these schools and to introduce yourselves to the admissions representatives.  Passes are available in the Career Center.  Please see Mr. Hanson with any questions.

Interact Club
Come to the Biotech conference room next Thursday, September 8 at lunch to learn about the largest service and leadership club on campus! There will be ice-cream!

If you are a returning student and participate in the National School Lunch Program and receive free/reduced lunches, your number will still work until September.  Please make sure to re-apply ASAP to ensure you are not dropped from the program.
