The Fly Program
(Fresh Lifelines for Youth) program is a great opportunity for students to become more aware of California laws and how they affect them.  A hot meal will be provided Today after school in room A147.  

College Info
We have three colleges coming to visit us this week: University of San Francisco will be here today during lunch, Boston College tomorrow during tutorial and Notre Dame de Namur tomorrow during lunch.  Please see Mr. Hanson in the Career Center for more information.

Coming Out Day
Is there something people don’t know about you? Are you LBGT? A Survivor? In Therapy? Recovering? Come out Tomorrow, October 14th @ lunch in the Quad.  Free bracelets!

District College Fair- Monday October 17th
All students are invited to come and meet representatives from more than 70 colleges from all over the country on Monday at Mills High School. The evening will include guest speakers addressing UC and CSU admissions and paying for college.  Stop by the Career Center to pick up a program with more information.

Youth & Government Day is October 20th
Interested in learning more about it? See Mrs. Kane in the Career Center. Space is limited.

Tickets On Sale Today for our fall musical “EVITA”
Performances Thursday – Sunday Oct. 20-23rd. Follow the rise and fall of Eva Duarte Peron, a poor girl from the streets of Argentina who, through sheer ambition, rose to the top!  The original Broadway production won seven Tony Awards, including Best Musical (the first British show to do so) with a Latin-infused score that includes the beloved anthem, Don’t Cry For Me, Argentina. EVITA is directed by Brad Friedman, musical direction by Attilio Tribuzi and choreography by Robyn Tribuzi. Reserved tickets on sale now at $20 for adults and $15 for seniors and students (20% discount for drama boosters and for groups of 10 or more)

Student Section Special:
$5 general seating (in student only section) will be available at the door or in the quad October 19th-21st at lunch.

Students who plan to participate in Winter sports must be cleared with an Athletic Packet. Online Athletic Packets for athletic clearance are available for parents and guardians to complete.  Go and click on “Athletic Packets” and then “San Mateo”.

Physicals that were given within the last year and are on file in the Health Office can be used until they expire and do not need to be resubmitted.

Hard copies of the Athletic Packet are available in the Health Office for those that do not have access to a computer.

Girls Tennis
"The Girls Tennis team maintained its winning ways with a 7-0 and a 6-1 victory against Hillsdale and Carlmont. With a great game of her own, Aida Lowe filled in victorious at the #1 singles spot. The number #1 doubles team of Lauren Young and Emily Chan remains undefeated for the season."
