The Fly Program
(Fresh Lifelines for Youth) program is a great opportunity for students to become more aware of California laws and how they affect them.  A hot meal will be provided Tomorrow after school in room A147.  

Youth & Government Day is Tomorrow, October 20th
Youth & Government Day Field Trip form and Permission form is due now. Please bring your completed forms to Mrs. Kane in the Career Center.

Fundraiser @ Pizza My Heart, Tomorrow, October 20st
This Thursday, the Music Boosters will be hosting its monthly restaurant night at Pizza My Heart on 4th Street in San Mateo!  Come out and support the music and choral programs!  Just mention the music boosters when you place your order and 20% of your order will be donated to San Mateo High music!  Dine in, carry out or have it delivered!"

San Mateo County is in need of Student Election Officers for Election Day, November 8th.
The pay is $140.00 for the day - 6:00 am - 9:00 pm.  You must be 16 years old. Pick up the application package from the Career Center.  Applications are due back to the Career Center Friday, October 21st.

Our Fall Musical, EVITA, Opens Thursday: Tickets On Sale in Quad Wed. -Fri. at Lunch
Performances Thursday – Sunday Oct. 20-23rd. Follow the rise and fall of Eva Duarte Peron, a poor girl from the streets of Argentina who, through sheer ambition, rose to the top!  The original Broadway production won seven Tony Awards, including Best Musical (the first British show to do so) with a Latin-infused score that includes the beloved anthem, Don’t Cry For Me, Argentina. EVITA is directed by Brad Friedman, musical direction by Attilio Tribuzi and choreography by Robyn Tribuzi. Reserved tickets on sale now at $20 for adults and $15 for seniors and students (20% discount for drama boosters and for groups of 10 or more)
