Message from Career Center
Today at tutorial we will be visited by Cañada College in the Career Center.  This is a great opportunity for students to learn about community college, transferring to a university, and certificate training programs.  Interested? Pick up a pass in the Career Center.

Sign up for CSF
If you are interested in signing up for CSF, otherwise known as the California Scholarship Federation, applications are now open.  You can pick up a copy of the application in the Career Center and your application is due by Tuesday, January 31st at 3:30 p.m., with no exceptions.  Your application must include your $5 CSF fee along with your report card or copy of your transcript showing your fall semester grades.  Applications can be dropped off in the Career Center.

Pizza My Heart Music Fundraiser
Come out and support the Bearcat instrumental and choir programs this Thursday, January 19th at Pizza My Heart on 4th Street in San Mateo!   Get a group together and grab a slice and 30% of the proceeds of your order will go towards supporting your fellow music students!  Simply mention the San Mateo High School Music Boosters when you order!

Badminton informational meeting
Badminton meeting is on Thursday, January 19th in E115 at lunch. 

Tickets for the winter musical, THE MUSIC MAN, will go on sale at lunch on Wednesday, January 25 in the Quad. Students with I.D. cards pay only $5.00 for non-reserved seats! Regular prices are $20 for adults, $15 for students and seniors. MUSIC MAN plays on Friday and Saturday at 7:30 and Sunday at 2:00 from January 27 to February 5.

Auditions for the Spring Play
On Wednesday, February 8, we will hold auditions for the spring play, THE IMPORTANCE OF BEING EARNEST after school in the MPR. Sign up and get an audition form in the classroom. All actors will read from the script, so you don't need to prepare anything, but it might be helpful to read the script beforehand. See Mr. Friedman if you have any questions.

Formal is February 11th!
Guest passes are available online and are due by Friday, January 27th.  Clearance forms are also available in Student Services.

Leadership Summit 2017
Interested in Student Leadership next year? Come to our Leadership Summit Saturday, January 28th, 10am -2pm in the quad for workshops, food and fun.  RSVP on schoolloop.
