Come See SMHS’ Production of The Music Man  January 27th - February 5th
We are proud to present the classic Tony-Award winning musical about a charismatic con artist named Harold Hill, who transforms a sour Iowa town into a place full of laughter, love and music. Featuring one of the best musical scores of them all, including 76 TrombonesYa Got TroubleGoodnight, My Someone and Till There Was You, The Music Man is the perfect destination for the whole family featuring over 100 bearcats in the cast, crew, and marching band. Performances this weekend and next; Fridays and Saturdays at 7:30pm., Sundays at 2pm.

Tickets are available online at and this Thursday and Friday in the quad at lunch. Adults: $20 Seniors/Students $15 Student Special: $5 general seating (in student only section) available at the door or at lunch ticket sales

Boys Golf Meeting
There will be an important Boy's golf meeting Today at lunch in the Biotech lab. All interested players are encouraged to attend.  Please contact Mr. Ikeda if you are new to the golf program.

Formal is February 11th
Guest passes are available online and due Tomorrow.  Clearance forms are also available in Student Services.

Attention AP Students
All students attending the AP Assembly Tomorrow must check-in with their Tutorial teacher for attendance purposes, listen to the announcements, and then should be sent to the Main Gym for the Assembly. Tutorial Teachers please do not release students for the AP Assembly until after the announcements have been read.

Leadership Summit 2017
Interested in Student Leadership next year? Come to our Leadership Summit this Saturday, 10am -2pm in the quad for workshops, food and fun.  RSVP on schoolloop.

Baseball Tryouts
Try-outs will be held for both Varsity and JV starting Monday, January 30th thru Friday Feb. 3rd at 3:15 pm.

Badminton tryouts will start on Monday, January 30th thru Friday, February 10th due to limited gym availability. Please email Coach Rachell Berania for more information at for locations and times.

Boys Tennis Try-outs
Come to Tryout on Monday January 30 and Tuesday January 31 from 3:30 at the tennis courts.

Swim Team Info
Swim team starts on Monday, January 30th, 3:30pm on the pool deck. The first day will be suit sizing, come even if you are not cleared yet, this is the only suit sizing day.  You need to get sized so that we can order you a team suit.  Remember to get cleared through the health office.  Any questions? Attention all students interested in trying out for Softball
Softball tryouts begin on Monday, Tuesday & Wednesday (January 30th, 31st & February 1st). Please be at the Softball field, ready to go by 3:30pm. Bring a pair of running shoes. 

Sign up for CSF
Interested in signing up for CSF? Pick up a copy of the application in the Career Center. Your application is due by Tuesday, January 31st at 3:30 p.m. in the Career Center, with no exceptions.  Your application must include:  a $5 CSF fee and a report card or copy of your transcript with your fall grades. 

Auditions for the Spring Play
On Wednesday, February 8, we will hold auditions for the spring play, THE IMPORTANCE OF BEING EARNEST after school in the MPR. Sign up and get an audition form in the classroom. See Mr. Friedman if you have any questions.

SamTrans Bus Tickets
Students who are in the Free and Reduced Lunch Program can purchase discounted SamTrans bus tickets for the month of February. Please see Mrs. Hickey in the Health Office, A116.

Outdoor ED Cabin Leaders
Outdoor Ed Cabin Leaders are needed for Audubon Elementary School the week of March 6th.  Interested juniors & seniors, please sign up in the Health Office (Room A116).
