Boys Volleyball Tryouts
Bearcats, Boys Volleyball tryouts will be held next Tuesday at 5:30-7:30 in the small gym.  See you there!

Mock Trial team
Mateo's Mock Trial team took home the bronze last night, ending the season in third place in the county in competition with 16 schools. Menlo and Crystal Springs Uplands will battle for the right to go to State tonight. Kudos to team captains Chitra Kulkarni and Ramya Jois for taking us to semi-finals two years in a row. Next year, the win!!!

Varsity Girls Basketball
Congratulations to Anaseini Fakava, Mimi Shen, Alyssa Cho, and Katie Osaki for earning  All League honors for girls basketball. Alyssa was named to the first team, Mimi second team, and Anaseini and Katie Honorable Mention. Congratulations to all of you, and for the team for a great year! Good luck in CCS! 

Attention Class of 2018!
This upcoming Wednesday the 22nd we will be hosting a Junior Parent Night in the MPR at 6:30.  You and your parents are invited to attend. Come learn what your senior year has in store for you.  Is community college or four year school right for you?  Learn how to apply to college.  Stop by the Career Center with any questions.

Come and listen to the talented students of the BHS & SMHS Choirs perform Broadway, Hollywood and Jazz Standards from the Golden Age of Pop, featuring Irving Berlin, George Gershwin, & Cole Porter, in the February Choir Concert "FASCINATING RHYTHM," under the direction of Shawn Reifschneider on Thursday, February 23, 2017, 7 pm at the SMHS PAC. Tickets are $10 for Adults & $5 for Students & Seniors.

The Jennifer Nathan Travel Scholarship
Attention sophomores and juniors, are you interested in earning a grant to travel the globe this summer to learn about foreign cultures?  Would you like to see the world for free?  Then you should apply for the Jennifer Nathan Travel Scholarship!  Stop by the Career Center to pick up an application and to learn more.  Completed applications are due on Friday, February 24th.

Teen Poster Contest
Teen Mental Health Awareness is having a poster contest. Your poster will be displayed in the community and there will be a $70 prize for the winner. Submit your poster by Saturday, February 25th    See

Spring Sportsmanship Meeting
Come on Monday, February 27th at 6:30pm in the Performing Arts Center. All athletes are required to attend the meeting along with a parent or guardian. Individual team meetings will be following the general meeting.
