Today is the last day of Black History Month!

Here are our last tributes from celebrated Black American:

Maya Angelou (April 4, 1928 – May 28, 2014) was an American poet, memoirist, and civil rights activist. She published seven autobiographies, three books of essays, several books of poetry, and was credited with a list of plays, movies, and television shows spanning over 50 years. 

Two Quotes from Maya Angelou;

  1. I've learned that people will forget what you said, people will forget what you did, but people will never forget how you made them feel.
  2. If you don't like something, change it. If you can't change it, change your attitude.

Attention seniors, Have you filled out your FAFSA or Dream Act? Don’t miss out on this free money for college by waiting too long to fill out your application. It is due on Thursday, March 2nd in order to qualify for Cal Grant.  Stop by the Career Center if you need any help.

Attention seniors, if you have been accepted to SFSU, you are invited to the SFSU accepted students workshop tomorrow during tutorial in the C013 computer lab.  We will be visited by an SFSU counselor to help you get ready for SFSU.  Stop by the Career Center to pick up a pass.

Our Varsity Baseball game against rival Burlingame is this Wednesday at San Mateo High School at 3:30. Come support our Bearcats!
