Attention Ms. Hofmann’s students from last year! Please pick up your writing folder in Room A147 by Friday, August 22nd. Any folders not picked up by Friday will be recycled.

Attention Juniors! The PSAT (Preliminary SAT/National Merit Scholarship Qualifying Test) will be taken by all juniors on Wednesday, October 15th, during the school day. All juniors must see Mrs. Fenech in the Career Center to register for the PSAT. Donations for the cost of the test are $22.00. Donations should be made payable to “San Mateo High School”. Fee waivers are also available. Students can visit the Career Center before or after school and during brunch and lunch breaks to register for the PSAT, from Tuesday, September 2nd through Friday, September 5th. Remember: all juniors must register for the PSAT and there is just one week to register! Keep in mind that this is a great way to prepare for the SAT and to get feedback on improving skills needed for college success. Juniors may qualify for a National Merit Scholarship.

ATTENTION ALL STUDENTS
Please check your attendance on Schoolloop. If there are errors, you need to come to the Attendance Office and pick up a green “correction form”. Changes must be made within three days of the attendance call or error. Changes to attendance cannot be made after three days or once the month has closed.

FREE AND REDUCED LUNCH PROGRAM
If you are a returning student and you participate in the national school lunch program and receive free or reduced brunch and lunch, you will have to reapply by Tuesday, September 23rd, or the system will automatically drop you and you will not be able to get food. You can go to the District website and apply online. Although you have plenty of time, it is better to get this done sooner than later. Have a great year!!
