CAHSEE Countdown:  8 days until the California High School Exit Exam for ALL 10th Grade Students - Are you ready? Sophomores, we have a little over 1 week left to get ready for the CAHSEE - do your best this week to prepare yourself academically, physically, and emotionally.  Your teachers have prepared you well - continue to review the CAHSEE Study Guides and ask your teachers if you have any questions.  Get plenty of exercise, rest, and eat nutritious foods to prepare for the test. Remember a sound body makes a sound mind.  And, finally, have faith and confidence.  You can pass the test!  Remember, just one week left.  Again, are you ready?

A Message from Ms. Fergusson:
Our Mock Trial team will be competing at the South City Courthouse for the next three, Tuesday nights:  Jan. 27, Feb. 3, and Feb. 10.

Prosecution will be competing at 5:30 (against Mills, Half Moon Bay, and Jefferson) and Defense at 7:30 (against El Camino, South City, and Oceana) on those nights.

Everyone is welcome to come watch these events. The courthouse is at 1050 Mission Street in South San Francisco. Once inside, look for the courtrooms where Team "B" is competing. That's us.

We'll keep you posted if we progress to the semi-finals, where we'd compete in Redwood City against South County's top teams (usually Menlo and Hillsdale) for the right to go on to the state competition. Last year, Menlo won the state and went on to the nationals, where they came in 4th place, which was a pretty great honor for San Mateo County.

Go Mock Trial!
