Attention Bearcats!
Teen Read Week is October 19-23rd and we need 10 models who are willing to pose with a book for TRW posters! Ms. McCabe's digital photography class will be taking the photos!  If you do not have a class for 1st period or 7th period on Thursday, October 1st, or 2nd period on October 2nd, please sign up in the library. First ten students to sign up will be chosen. See Ms. Wardell or Ms. Rahnam in the library for more details.  

A Message from Mrs. Menendez in Attendance re: Absences and Tardiness:                                
Check your attendance on Schoolloop today.  If there are errors, you need to come to the Attendance Office and pick up a green “correction Form”.  Changes must be made within three days of the attendance call or error.  Changes to attendance cannot be made after three days or once the month has closed.

Choir Concert
Do you love Disney music? Come join the SMHS and BHS award winning combined choirs in their annual Fall Pops Concert, “The Wonderful World of Disney!” on Thursday, October 1st, 7pm @PAC. Tickets are $5 for students, $10 for Adults.

Girls JV and Varsity soccer Meeting

Volunteers Needed
The 2016 San Mateo County Fair Board is looking for volunteers to be part of the Junior Fair Board.  Applications are due by October 2nd, 2015.  Please see Ms. Kane in the Career Center to pick-up an application and get more information.

The 77th Annual Youth in Government Day is coming soon - October 15th!
Are you interested in getting involved in Local Government?  Do you want to have a voice on how the City you live in works? What does it take to be a city council member?
Please see Ms. Kane in the Career Center for more information and to get a Field Trip form to attend this amazing event. This field trip is limited to 15 students so if you want to go, please see Ms. Kane as soon as you can.
